Apples and Pumpkins

Lee parents decided to come up for a weekend while he was home. While they were here we took them to Behlings Orchards! We had an absolute blast! The weather started out a bit cloudy and cool, but the sun came out and it was a great day! The kids and adults had a blast! We picked out our pumpkins, rode rides, and Lindsey ate an entire apple, she couldn't get enough!

Daddy's All Star

There were so many reasons why October was the perfect time for Lee to come home. Jake on the ice was definitely one of them! Lee absolutely loves watching him learn to skate and play hockey and Jake was so excited to have his Dad there!

Check out her new ride!

Jake wanted to wait for Lee to get home to put together Lindsey's new ride. He absolutely loves being Daddy's big helper and working right along side him. The car was given to her by Nana and Papa for her birthday. I figured it would take Lee about 20mins but it was more like an hour! He was a little rusty I think! :) She loved it. She loved it even before it was all put together and loves it even more now!

Daddy's Fish

The same day Lee got home was Jake's last swim lesson for the year. I am not a big fan of getting him dressed after swimming in a snowsuit and boots so we will take a break from swimming until the spring. However, Jake was so excited that Lee could be there to see him swimming on his own!

Naked Baby

I almost forgot! The day before Lee got home was Lindsey's 1 year check-up! She weighed in at 27lbs and was 30" long! She was patiently waiting to see the doctor, having a snack of course! I could just squeeze her!

Open Arms!

Jacob ran right into his arms! Lindsey looked at first, but after Lee held her a few minutes, she knew exactly who he was!

Time to Hit the Rewind Button........

It has been a few weeks since I have posted but as most of you know, Lee was home for his R and R! I usually spend my nights blogging, catching up on TV, checking emails, etc..but I had no intention of doing any of that with Lee home. We spent every minute together as a family and we absolutley enjoyed every second of it! There was no arguing, bickering, or any of those things you do as a married couple when things are "normal"--we just pretended like we were on vacation and it was great! So I am flashing back to the beginning of our 2 weeks! Here is a picture montage of what we did!
