While we were gone, we had our kitchen painted. It was the one room we hadn't touched and we were so excited for a fresh look. Our painter did a great job and it is so much brighter!

A New Look

While it is nice to go away, it is also nice to come home especially to be welcomed by friends who missed us! Thanks for the warm welcome!
Family Photos
Each holiday we try our best for family photos. Kids together, parents and kids, sisters and kids, etc. We really try but I think it ends up that only one of us gets a decent picture. We will keep on trying...next try..the beach!

Quirks
I know Jen has posted on her blog about how we all have our quirks. So, here is my post on quirks! Jacob--I am blogging on you my adorable son! He is so stinking cute, he is an awesome big brother, kind, funny, smart, etc etc AND a little crazy sometimes. Crazy as in Aunt Laurie Type A, love you Laurie! Here he is on Easter sorting the stuff from his eggs! All of the treats were in groups until he was told he had to put them in a bag to take them home. He likes his stuff where he likes his stuff...end of story. PS. The money eventually was sorted as well. (yikes)

On the Hunt
It was super fun to have the Easter Egg hunt at my mom's this year, Lindsey got right in on the action! Thankfully there was one day of sun squeezed in between some rain showers! Each kid got lots of eggs and treats!
