Pedis

On Friday night the girls got pedis while the boys, aka Jake and John Budd, played video games. The kids were in their glory!

Liberty Science Center

This past weekend we took a road trip to NJ to stay with Aunt Becky. On Friday, due to a complete washout of weather,we took the kids to the Liberty Science Center. They had a great time even with 3,000 other kids there (no lie). One of the most beautiful things in the center was a metal beam from the WTC, it showed how heat and destruction could actually bend this enormous piece of metal. It was a moment to reflect. Thanks for a fun day Aunt Becky!

Something New

As most of you know Jacob's first love is hockey. This spring we asked him about playing a new sport and he decided on lacrosse. He is really enjoying it especially because a lot of his hockey friends place. I am seeing a connection between the two, do you? lol

Watch It Grow

Last week I had the chance to go with Jacob's class to the zoo. The most special thing of the day was his class releasing the butterflies that they watched grow in their classroom from catepillars. They were called "painted ladies" and the kids were so excited to release them in the butterfly house at the zoo.

Celebrating the Troops

(To begin, someone put the guilt on me about not keeping up with pictures, I guess I owe him).... We went home to PA for Memorial Day weekend. It didn't start off very well with Lindsey not feeling well but with a little rest and the right medicine she perked up. On Monday we watched the Memorial day parade and remembered those that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
