I will have to forget pictures tonight...the server keeps reporting an error and won't let me upload anymore..maybe tomorrow!

I told you so!

She is in to everything! Check her out emptying drawers in my parents bathroom!

Oh There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays!

Where do I begin? What a wonderful, exciting, scary, funny, and awesome Thanksgiving we had in PA! There really isn't anyplace like home when it comes to spending Thanksgiving. It has been tradition for as long as I can remember that my mom hosts Turkey Dinner. What would a Thanksgiving weekend be like in PA without:
1. Traffic all the way home on Wed!
2. Stuffing the turkey with Nana!
3. Lindsey getting in to everything she can at Nana's.
4. Laura coming to visit!
5. Thank God for cousins, especially ones who will keep your child for 2 days!
6. Thankful that I know my husband is safe and will be home soon!
7. Getting to see the Gordons!
8. Taking my 2nd ride in an ambulance this year with Lindsey--thankfully she is doing fine!
9. Getting to see Donna and Sam and they boys playing really great together!
10. Spending the whole weekend with family and everyone getting along, for the most part! We have our moments but in the end, we are family and we love each other. I couldn't be more grateful!
Check out the pictures!

The Advent Wreath

The weekend before Thanksgiving, Jake and I went to Post to make an advent wreath. It was a really nice event and Jake was super excited because his friend Deven from school was there. We had a great time together!

Laundry In...laundry out--toys away..toys out...

It always seems like as I put things away, Lindsey is taking them out. Perfect example..Here is my laundry, at least it was the dirty stuff. I was loading the washer and she was unloading the basket! She is a pip!

One of these things is not like the others...

So I always thought Becky was the creative one, being an Engligh major and an excellent writer. Let's just say, she should just stick to writing. Gingerbread houses aren't for her. She tried, but Jake and Aunt Laurie had to rescue her house! Sorry Becky, but I had to post this!

A Visit from the Aunties

Last weekend the Aunties came to spend the weekend. They got a taste full of kids all weekend, something they aren't used to, but I am pretty sure they loved it! We loved having them. We are so lucky to have them in our lives and I thank them so much for helping me out last weekend! I truly appreciate it! While they were here, they made this awesome gingerbread village.

Some random pictures..

We spent the rest of the time Lee was here soaking up as much time together as we could. We had a great 2 weeks and are counting down the weeks till he is home for good!

Taking a Dip...indoors!

We headed to Greek Peek, a beautiful resort in the mountains on NY to enjoy their indoor water park before Lee left. My parents met us there and had some fun too! We had a great time! The kids loved the water, Jake was in it for almost 4 hours! We would definitely go there again!

My Knight and Princess (well, ladybug princess)

Happy Halloween, a few weeks later!

Much needed...

Lee and I were nervous about heading out and Jake getting upset, but we really needed a night out with friends! Lisa got a beer for best costume--although she was the only one in a costume, but she looked great! We are blessed to have awesome friends!

Slowly.....I am getting back!

I put my blog on the bottom of my list. Terrible, I know. I have been trying to get ahead for Xmas, I feel like it is going to be here before we know it! So I wil give you a glimpse of some posts that should have been on here before I put up my new ones. Here goes....

Time-out.....

I think I caught up on my blog for the first week of Lee's R and R! You will just have to hold on for the 2nd week! I need a bit of rest to continue to fight my cold! More to come!!

Strike!

Since we spent about a half of a day with Lindsey, we promised Jake we would we spend some time with just him too. We did a bunch of errands on Post before taking him bowling and to lunch. We had a blast!

The Peanut Place

Jacob asked if we could take Lindsey to the Peanut Place, aka the Roadhouse, for her birthday so she could ride the saddle! She loved it!

Enjoying the Outdoors

We were so excited to have some warm days while Lee was home. We wanted to be able to get outside with the kids and we did just that! Lee couldn't believe how much Lindsey loves Jake's car!

The Magic Tubes

She was all done with the tubes and ready for breakfast! She had eggs, home fries, toast and blueberry pancakes--all from Mom and Dad's plates of course!

Before the Magic

These were the "before" pictures of Lindsey, before the "magic tubes" were put in. She did great and looked so cute in that gown.

Man Time

Jacob and Lee spent a ton of time together, I tried my hardest to let them do what they wanted. They carved pumpkins together and then got on to a few of the projects I had for Lee.

Apples and Pumpkins

Lee parents decided to come up for a weekend while he was home. While they were here we took them to Behlings Orchards! We had an absolute blast! The weather started out a bit cloudy and cool, but the sun came out and it was a great day! The kids and adults had a blast! We picked out our pumpkins, rode rides, and Lindsey ate an entire apple, she couldn't get enough!
