Bring out the Bikes

Taking our bikes home to Nana's has become a staple. It is a great place for the kids to ride and the weather at Easter was warm enough for them to ride! It was also the first time Lindsey really got to ride her bike and test it out, she loved it and did great!

Going to the chapel.....

You know it is true love...the day Lee got home from being gone for a week, Lindsey quickly put on her "wedding" dress and asked Lee to marry her. She said Jake was the priest (hockey player priest as you can see he is holding a stick in his hand, which I think he would carry 24/7 if I let him)...anyway. It was really cute, they had a ceremony and a dance! Here are the pictures from the horrible photographer that showed up late! lol

Our March Madness

Our March Madness included a Syr Crunch game withe the Rapids, Maple Breakfast and Sugar Shacks with the Sweets, birthdays and parties, snow, and then finally some spring like weather and playground time! We had a busy month with tons of fun...bring on April!

Go Jags!!

Last weekend was Jake's final hockey tournament. We have so many amazing pictures it was hard to just choose a few. Hockey is definitely a long season but Jacob is completely dedicated and has improved so much in just one season. Everytime he steps on the ice I feel tears in my eyes, I am so proud of him. He did so well and skated his heart out at the tournament. He was so excited that his Nana and Papa got to see a few games too, it meant the world to him. He has made some great friends and the kids have learned to play as a team, work together, and stay focused. All their hard work payed off when they took home medals and the 2nd place trophy! Way to go Jags!

4:11am.....He is 7!!

Jacob was so excited about his birthday, he was all set to wake up at 4:11am so he could celebrate but I am glad he doesn't know how to set an alarm clock yet. His day consisted of school, hockey practice, pancakes at Cracker Barrel for dinner and ice cream cake!

Reading, Writing and Math....

It is amazing to me how much Jacob has grown and learned in the last 7 months. He is writing long stories, reading chapter books and still acing his math! He works really hard and it is paying off. I don't want to be the braggy Mom, but I couldn't resist just a little. (this was a story he wrote after our ski trip)
