I can officially say "I LOVE BEING A HOCKEY MOM!" Last year I missed most of hockey with Lindsey being a newborn/infant. I was a little unsure about putting on all the equipment and figuring out how to keep Lindsey busy for an hour. Fortunately, I got an equipment lesson from John Budd and our wonderful friends the Charltons offered to watch Lindsey during the early practice on Saturday.
I was so excited to take him to practice and when he was on the ice, it took everything I had to keep from crying. I was soooo proud of him, he is skating like a champ! He was having some trouble with one of his skates. They may be a little big, but they are also new, and I think by the end of practice Sunday he was feeling skating in them.
So here are some pictures from this weekend's first practice and one of the videos I took.

I cried when you sent me the text! I can't believe how much bigger he looks this year all geared up. He is such a natural at hockey it's just amazing! Can't wait to see him in action in November!
I love that little jersey with his name on it! Priceless!
