Time to Rake!

As most of you know, we have a gigantic beautiful tree in front of our house, not to mention the other 1,000 around our house. Well, the leaves have started to fall already and they probably will still be falling at Christmas. I try to get the kids outside for just a bit each day for some fresh air. Part of me wishes Lindsey was walking but then again, I don't know how much raking I would get done chasing her. She will go in her swing or sit in the wagon and play until she gets antsy. Jake was so excited to rake and jump in a pile of leaves! I remembered my camera and took some cute pics! You will notice in one of them Lindsey standing all by herself--we are getting closer to steps I think!

I can't believe the leaves are falling already. I'm still in denial, which explains why you can no longer see our lawn. I'm not raking them, I'm pretending that they're decorating my lawn. They kids look like they're enjoying them, wish my girls would too. Unless I plant some barbies in there, chances are pretty slim that either child will go anywhere near them.

Playing in the leaves was always my favorite Fall activity! That and burning them...remember when we used to rake them to the curb and then burn them? Ah, those were the days...when the smell of burning leaves would fill the streets of West Pittston.

Those are beautiful pictures and I think she will be walking before you know it, maybe even while Lee is home. You never know!

Jake and Lindsey look great playing in the leaves and brings back memories to when I was little. I love seeing how close they are and hope they stay that way. I cant wait to get back on 21 OCT!!!!!! We will be a family again..
