Another Season on the Ice

Jake is back on the ice and better than ever. I finally got to see him on the ice last weekend and I was blown away. He is skating backwards, skate stopping (working on it) and doing really well! I am so proud of him, and the best part, he loves it! I love you #20!

Grateful

It has been a long time since I have updated my blog so there is no time like the present to get back in the groove!
Last week we went to PA for Thanksgiving. There weren't as many of us at the dinner table that night but over the weekend we got to visit with family and friends and really had a great time. I know it drives my sister nuts when I talk about only having a few more holidays in PA but I guess when I think about that, it makes me enjoy the ones we have even more. The recap of our weekend: playing outside, stuffing the turkey, seeing a hockey game, playing with cousins and friends, a Mupet Movie, and food, lots of food! Enjoy some pictures!

The LOOT

Jake got so much candy I think we filled 3 gallon ziplock bags! We definitely need to donate it to some single soldiers soon!

Trick or Treat

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have trick or treated with the Charltons. As most of you know, we don't have much action on our street so we head downtown to the Charltons neighborhood. The weather was perfect. The girls went door to door for one block and then headed back to hand out candy while the boys drove on! Lindsey had a blast walking up and down Jen's street about 5 times, looking at the kids, saying hello to neighbors and just taking in the night! Lee and I got to dress up for MJ's birthday part on Sat and an adult part on Sat night! We had a blast too!

Look Out Pens!

Not only is Jake in love with hockey...but we may have another little penguin! Aunt Becky got Jake a new (bigger) jersey and the old one fits perfect on Linds! Thanks Aunt Becky!

A Typical Day...

If you came to our house at almost any time of the day you might find Lindsey in sunglasses! I can't even begin to count the number of sunglasses she owns...it is just a BUNCH!

Tub Time

After getting covered in goop from the pumpkins it was time for a bath! It has been a while since I got a picture of the 2 of them in the tub!

Pumpkin Carving

Last week we picked a warm night to carve our pumpkins! Lindsey got to draw with markers on hers and we carved the other 2 with Jake! It was super fun! Trying to get a picture of Lindsey and the 2 boys together was not easy especially when Linds decided she rather be sitting in the star planter I have!

It is Never too Late

Yes, I have been a terrible blogger lately..or should I say a non-blogger! Tonight I will attempt to recap the last 2 weeks..briefly!
First off...with Lee's crazy work schedule it was hard to find a time to throw a little party for Lindsey in Watertown. We squeezed in a birthday lunch on a Sunday with a couple friends. At least for this celebration she was able to wear her birthday outfit and was feeling well!
