One More Birthday Wish!
My nephew also had a birthday this month and turned 15! The first time I met DJ and most of Lee's family was at DJ's 1st birthday party! It seems so long ago and my how you have grown! Have a great birthday!
Happy Birthday Sis!
2nd Birthday Wishes
Just the 2 of Us!
On her birthday, I decided to take Lindsey to the zoo. I haven't taken her there since she was in the stroller and this time I let her walk the entire zoo! She loved it and I loved the time we got to spend together! The weather was a little cool but a few minutes in to the zoo the sun finally came out! We had a great time!
Brekkie #2
Birthday Girl
As I rocked Lindsey to sleep the other night I thought about holding her for the first time in my arms. Her dark curly hair, her smooshy face, her baby smell, and the feeling of pure bliss. I remember all the moments of her birth, introducing her to Jacob, and bringing her home. What I feel like I can't remember is everything in between, I think it happened in the blink of an eye! She is more amazing and beautiful than I ever imagined a daughter could be. She fills me up with laughter and joy everyday of my life. I love you to pieces Linds---Happy 2nd Birthday! These are pictures from her birthday breakfast with Jacob at home!
Rainy Days
Coming Down
The end of an era...we finally (more like "I") parted with the highchair. We brought the little table and chairs in to the kitchen so the kids can sit there for breakfast, snacks, etc and Linds can sit in the booster seat at the dining room table. It is just one of those steps towards becoming a "big" girl I guess!

Family Ties
Dora Dora Everywhere
Dora was the theme this year and she definitely got her fill of Dora. My sister-in-law found some Dora toys I bought for my niece years ago and sent those up as well! We officially have Dora for the bathtub, crib and one to dress-up with a variety of clothes, lots of baby doll items, a new doll house, books, and adorable clothes! I think she is set...at least till Santa comes!
I have a Party Hat!
This past weekend we went to PA for a family birthday extravaganza! First was Lindsey's party on Saturday night followed by 22 of us going to brunch on Sunday for my mother's birthday! It was a huge weekend of family fun and usually whenever that is planned there is only one thing you can count on...Lindsey being sick. It never fails! This time she got sick on Thursday night with her usual respiratory cough but by Friday night it turned in to a fever. On Saturday she was in and out of feeling well and even after puking 4 times on Sat night and being completely lathargic on my lap in bed, she pops up and says, "Get up mom, birthday!" So she made it about 1/2 hour to open some presents before conking out for the night without a Dora birthday cupcake. Sunday she felt 99% better and we had a really yummy brunch with the whole family.

The "m" word
Moving..no one likes to talk about it, especially Jen and Lisa. I don't like it either so I just don't even let my brain go there. However, there are times like driving home on Saturday after spending a great afternoon with these 2 awesome friends that makes the "m" word suck! Jen recently asked me if it was hard to not just be settled somewhere. Yes and no...yes when you meet great friends and like where you live but know in the back of your head you have to leave...then yes, i would love to be settled. The other little part of me can't wait to keep seeing new places, at least for the next 10 years. It seems like such a long time but we all know how fast time goes by. It is a difficult question to answer but I do hope in 15 years from now we are settled, somewhere, and can enjoy the life we have without the "m" word looming around. Cheers to my girlfriends!

Almost!
In just about 16 days Lindsey will be 2!! It is so hard to believe how fast 2 years can go by! I look at her now and it is hard for me to remember holding her at 7lb13oz. She is the most funny, outgoing, silly, strong willed, smart , beautiful, and quirky little girl! We are so blessed she is ours and I can't wait to celebrate her birthday!
It never fails...when I want to take her picture she doesn't look. BUT when she is wearing a shirt on her head from the laundry basket she is full of smiles! That is my Linds and why I love her!!
What a difference!
Game Day
This past Saturday we were invited by our friends, the Charltons, to go to the Syr vs Rutgers football game. (thank you Pepsi) We were so excited even if we had to leave the game early! It definitely brought back memories of watching Lee play football. I really hope someday we will get to cheer on Jacob and Lindsey in whatever they choose to do!
