This past Saturday I had the chance to attend 2 great events!
The first event was the 2nd day of the Women's Conference, in which we heard from the famous best selling author Greg Mortensen speak. He was intriging, funny and made me want to read his book today! If you haven't read Three Cups of Tea and his new one, Stones in to Schools, do so! Here is a pic from Saturday! I got to present him with a check for $4500 towards his Central Asia Project and the local schools raised over $8000 for Pennies for Peace!
The 2nd event was Leah Charlton's 1st Birthday (in brown and pink of course)!!! My whole family went and we had a blast. The Charlton's and their extended family have welcomed Lee and I and are kids in to their hearts as if we were part of thier family too. They are wonderful people!! We are so lucky to know Miss Leah and watch her grow. We had a great time! We love you Leah!
